SYNOPSIS
Julio, the king, celebrates his daughter Alba's seventh birthday by giving her the wood of an "Old Torreón" (a dead tree in the forest) as a symbol of his future reign. The Banshee, a dark and ominous fairy who lives in the Torreón announces that she will take her revenge and condemns Alba to become an ivy when she turns 18. Ten years later, fed up with the confinement to which her father subjects her, Alba decides to go out into the world at the same time as Guillermo, a rogue fortune hunter, arrives in town to get gold and silver and travel to the New World.
While Alba plans to flee, the fairies under the command of Primrose hatch a plan to find her with Guillermo, who will be tested in the labyrinth of the forest in order to lead him to recognize the real treasure that is hidden in the Gallitrap. For their part, The Banshee and the Witches counterpoint and move in opposite directions, mutating in shape and appearing before Alba in the form of a helpless old woman looking for a lost wedding ring in the woods. It is the ruse by which the princess, moved, goes out in search of the jewel and there she meets Guillermo at the foot of the old Torreón.
The Banshee fulfills her curse and traps Alba who is eventually turned into an ivy. Noticing the disappearance of his daughter, Julio organizes an expedition into the forest with his entire guard to find her and destroy Banshee. Already in the forest, the game of fairies and witches produces a hostile climate, wind storms and hallucinations that complicate the walk of the walkers. In the midst of this context, Guillermo finally falls into the Gallitrap where he discovers the world of fairies and finds himself, which produces a change in his view of things.
Willing to forget the jewel and determined to get Alba back, he returns to the surface and joins Julio and the guard to free the princess. The Banshee and her Witches turn the forest into a cavern of ice and stone in which everyone suffers from temporary blindness. However, Cowslip plays a hidden ace and gets the Witches to turn on Banshee by trapping her in her essence and destroying her. Alba returns to her human form and Julio rewards Guillermo by receiving him as part of his family.

SCENE 1
Cowslip, White Fairy, begins the narration of the story. She is accompanied by the fairies of the four elements. The forest, in the domain of King Julio; he, with his family and some members of the court, walks through the forest.
ONCE UPON A TIME...
Primula:
Once upon a time, a long time ago
In a kingdom far away, a place of peace
A King proud of his Queen and his inheritance
that in its green lands sang its dignity.
> King Julio, Queen Magdalena and Princess Alba, next to an ancient tree deep in the forest.
July:
Happy to have you, my sunshine girl
I inherit this forest, I give you the world.
Of its wood thrones of glory I will make you
so that everything you see is yours.
Primula:
and it was like this that the king ordered to cut into pieces
to blows of ax and of royal arrogance
to a tree that reigned in the forest long ago
without seeing that inside him, there was something else.
> A servant axes the tree. Everything shakes; the tree splits open, revealing the witches in the texture of their knots; The Banshee emerges from within.
The witches:
The Banshee!
The Banshee:
Who dares enter my keep?
The witches:
To mutilate this tree is to condemn oneself to die.
The fairies:
Because a fairy lives in it
that the offense will avenge.
The Banshee:
To your invasion, King Julio
now I will answer.
> Each member of the court, including the Queen, falls asleep under the influence of witches; Alba falls asleep at the end in the arms of Julio, who is the only one who remains with knowledge; the forest darkens; Julio and La Bansheeson the only contenders on the battlefield.
Primula:
Everyone stay tuned to what she said there
The fairy, annoyed, uttered a curse
for her voice is ready among the shadows and the greenery
and sing at night in your bed and your quilt.
The Banshee:
Smug sovereign, fatuous majesty
You do not know my law and this you are going to pay.
If you steal my forest from you I will take
a piece of your being that will be part of us.
You will pay for this offense, little sun of the king
you will see the night arrive at the dawn of your dawn;
when your spring is born, like a flower you have to return
and for leaves and tendrils you will turn your sweet skin.
Your longing will bring you
to the forest you will escape
and after your desolation
you will become ivy!
Between the thickness you will be bark and moisture...

primrose:
All you pay attention to what she said there
The fairy, annoyed, casted a curse
For her voice is ready between shadows and greenery
And sings in the nights in your bedding and duvet.
The Banshees:
Vain sovereign, fatuous majesty
You don´t know my laws and this you will pay
If you stole my forest from you I will take
A part of your being that mine will be
You will pay for this offense, little sunny King
You will see the night arrive when you dawn blunts
When spring starts, as a flower you´ll return
And by your leaves and tendrils you will shift your sweet skin
Your year will take you
To the woods you'll flee
And behinds your desolation
In ivy you´ll turn!
